Andrew Moreno

Andrew Moreno is a multi-million-dollar winner at the poker tables with a long-held passion for poker, even when working as a steel-cutter in a Midwest factory.

Indiana-born Moreno is married to fellow player and poker presenter Kristy Arnett. Shortly after getting together, the couple moved to Las Vegas, where Moreno would attempt to grind the $1/$2 no-limit hold’em cash tables. Within a decade, he had successfully built a bankroll to play sustainably at the $25/$50 level.

2021 was a breakout year for Moreno. He broke the $1 million barrier for live poker earnings after landing the Venetian’s DeepStack Championship Poker Series Event #58, taking home $127,740. Within a matter of days, the red-hot Moreno then binked the $10,000-entry Wynn Millions, outlasting a 1,328-strong field for an eye-watering $1.46m payday.

The Venetian’s big-ticket poker tournaments have continued to be kind to Moreno. In 2022, he landed a second tournament win in the UltimateStack Event #27 at the DeepStack Extravaganza, taking home another $242,293.

In July 2023 Moreno came within a whisker of landing his first WSOP Circuit ring when finishing third in the online High Roller 8-Max event.
