The long-time poker fixture has found success at the WSOP Online Series
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Series is hot, and it continues to hand out golden bracelets to the event winners. One of the latest wins comes from Michael Lech, who just won the $1,500 No-Limit High Roller Freezeout that was played at WSOP.com Monday evening. This year’s series has been quite successful for Lech, who has cashed out already from seven different events so far. His recent victory was his first WSOP title, though, and awarded him the top prize of $164,248.92 and his first gold bracelet.
Lech has had a good history across WSOP events, as he is also an eight-time gold ring winner on the WSOP Circuit.
This event had no reentries nor rebuys as it was a freezeout; therefore, there was only one chance to defeat the field of 649 players who registered. The tournament lasted for eleven hours for the winner to be determined, which had Lech and William Romaine facing each other in the final heads-up. This tournament also saw the participation of great names in the poker world like Connor Drinan - who finished sixth and won $29,964 - and even Daniel Negreanu - although he finished far from the final table in 27th place for $6,381.29.

Tuesday night saw Event #14: $3,200 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller that came with a $1,507,840 prize pool. Today's tournament will take place at 3 PM EST and it is the $1,000 WSOP.com - PLO 8-Max HR.
