One of poker’s winningest players offers his time in an auction for a good cause

The ALL IN Challenge fundraiser is bringing all kinds of celebrities from different sectors, donating time and things to be auctioned. Included in those celebrities helping to raise funds for the COVID-19 pandemic, was 15-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth. Hellmuth's donation included a stay at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and, the best of all, a two-hour coaching session with the poker pro. He did his share for the pandemic crisis; an anonymous bidder paid $17,500 in the auction that closed Sunday night.

Hellmuth donated all the funds collected to the fundraiser for the COVID-19 relief, which seeks to raise a total of $100 million. The money raised will be destined to those organizations that are doing their best to help those who are more impacted by the economic disaster created due to this public health emergency. There will be a total of six organizations that will be receiving the collected funds, these organizations are dedicated to feeding those in need.

"We want to feed people," said Hellmuth in his video describing the experience. "We can’t have people going hungry. People are losing their jobs. There is a lot of suffering out there." Hellmuth didn't miss the chance to call for Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey to join this good cause and bring their donations along.

For the anonymous person who won the bid, this two-hour coaching session is not only for the one paying the money, but for eight more friends, as well as three rooms at the Aria hotel. There are other great things listed to be actioned, including a batting lesson from Alex Rodriguez, a private magic show and a lesson from David Blaine, among many others. So far, $21 million has been raised.
