Robbie Strazynski has been active in the poker media space since 2009, when he founded Cardplayer Lifestyle. The site focuses on publishing top-tier interviews, op-eds, lifestyle features, strategy pieces and poker training site reviews.
In addition, Robbie has taken on a wide variety of other projects in the industry. He's hosted multiple poker podcasts, including Top Pair, The Red Chip Poker Podcast, The Orbit, and the CardsChat Podcast. He was also a member of the WSOP Main Event Player Bios Team for Poker PROductions and translated Poker Hall of Famer Eli Elezra’s autobiography (Pulling the Trigger) from Hebrew into English.
In 2018, Robbie’s 'Running Well' campaign was recognized with the Global Poker Award for Charitable Initiative of the Year.
In 2021, Robbie founded the Mixed Game Festival, an oft-recurring live cash game and tournament event series whose overarching goal is to boost the popularity of non-Hold’em variants.
At the tables, you’ll usually find Robbie playing in a dealer’s choice home game or in a casino mix for stakes of $4/$8 up to $80/$160. Away from the tables, you can find him spending time with his wife and three children at their home in Israel.
