Seth Davies grew up in Bend, Oregon and, like many professional poker players, first channeled his competitive drive into pursuits away from the felt. From a young age, Davies excelled in athletic pursuits – swimming, in particular. Later in life, he applied the same determination and drive to poker.
After getting his start grinding low-stakes tournaments and sit n’ gos, Davies popped up in the live streets in 2010 – with his first recorded tournament result coming from a $1,874 cash in a $500 no-limit hold’em event at The Venetian. In the years following, Davies added to his live resume, more cashes, but no trophies. Then, in 2016, he had his breakout with a win at the WPT Canadian Spring Championship for $203,992.
In 2018, Davies doubled down on high roller and super high roller events, committing to testing himself at the highest stakes against the toughest competition. Whether it was at the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the European Poker Tour (EPT), the WPT, the PokerGO Tour (PGT), or, later, the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series, Davies was in the mix.
Across the next few years, Davies made a name for himself amidst the highly-competitive high roller scene. In 2024, he won the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl in Cyprus to add $3,206,000 to his career earnings. Two months later, Davies won the $100,000 PLO Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas for $1,500,000 – making him the first player to win SHRB rings in both no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha.
In 2025, Davies crushed the competition – amassing over $12,000,000 in tournament earnings. As he racked up score after score, Davies won his first Triton Poker SHRS title in May and followed it up with his first WSOP bracelet during the summer series.
Davies regularly posts on social media about his experiences on the super high roller scene and has stepped into the content creation game with his own YouTube channel.
