The high-stakes regular continues to show his skills at the WSOP Online Series
The WSOP Online Bracelet Series for worldwide players continues to run, and has already granted the second gold bracelet to a winner. Event #35, the $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, finished with a prize pool of $1,558,000 and a field of 328, topped by Finnish high-stakes poker pro Juha Helppi.
Besides earning the second bracelet of his poker career, he also took home the biggest portion of that prize pool at $290,286.
Actually, Helppi fought a long time to earn the victory that would grant him his first gold bracelet, and he was finally able to conquer that goal last year by winning WSOP Event #72, the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship to take home $306,622. Helppi is a well-known professional poker player in Europe and has basically been a staple of European high-stakes poker for the past couple of decades. His poker winnings are impressive, at almost $8 million in lifetime winnings, according to Hendon Mob. Also, he is a regular visitor of high-stakes PLO cash games on the European circuit.
The final table of event #35 also had some great players fighting for the title, such as Jens "98snaeJ" Kyllonen, Yuri Dzivielevski and Alex "rubbherducky" Difelice. There were three WSOP bracelet winners sitting at that final table and they all played key roles in sending the rest of the opponents to the rails. Besides Helppi, both Kyllonen and Dzivielevski both have a WSOP bracelet to their names; however, Kyllonen finished in fifth place even after sending three opponents home during the early stages of the final table.
