$320 turns into more than $50,000 and a Circuit ring for the US player
From June 3 to June 14 the World Series of Poker (WSOP) is running another event part of the WSOP Circuit season since the original live event couldn't be completed due to the coronavirus pandemic. This 12-ring event WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit Series is available to players located in Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware. Yesterday, the Event #9: $100,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit NLH 2x Re-entry with a $320 buy-in passed the guaranteed quite easily for a total of $204,300. Kami "Loco4coco" Hudson was the final winner who sent Chance "BingShui" Kornuth to the rails in the final heads-up.
The final count of players registered for this tournament was 422, with 259 of them paying re-entries. The final prize pool was distributed among the top 75 players starting with a minimum payout of $653. Hudson took home the top prize of $50,053 and her first WSOP Circuit ring. On top of that, event winners also received a guaranteed spot in the online Global Casino Championship. Other renowned names sitting at the final table were Jon "havuuuuuuc" Turner and Brock "ohmyguan" Wilson.
Other players were able to cash out but did not make it to the final table like Shankar "burgersssss" Pillai (10th place - $2,247), Ryan "WHOSYOURDODD" Dodd (13th place - $2,247), Ankush "rickrosstheb" Mandavia (17th place - $1,634), and Jeffy "mavsusc" Platt (61st place - $653). With so many talented players fighting for a WSOP circuit ring, there were others who fall short of the money like Eric "circleball" Baldwin (76th place), Aram "X69Podheiser" Zobian (79th place), Luis "theunderdog0" Rodriguez and Jamie "DanBilzerian" Kerstetter, who ended 177th.
