The Poker Masters series is finding some consistent winners as the games start to enter the final stretch
All professional poker players currently participating in the Poker Master Online series are giving a great show of high-quality poker action. This 30-event series welcomed a number of the best poker players in the world from both the online and live poker realms. Most players that have won one event already, like Andras Nemeth, have been awfully close to amassing a second title until Pauli Ayras became the first player to conquer two events. Now, after winning event #23, Pascal Lefrancois has just become the second one.
Lefrancois won Event #9 for $243,988 a few days ago, and he has now conquered Event #23: $1Million GTD [PLO, 6-Max]. The total prize he took home was $527,209 after the event recorded 61 entries for the $25,000 buy-in. The final heads-up battle was between Lefrancois and Nemeth, who was once closer to conquering his second title of the series. Other names who finished in the final table were Andreas Torbergsen, Pedro Zagalo and Ioannis Kontonatsios.
Event #24 had a $10,300 buy-in and a $500,000 guarantee, but this was an NLH, 6-max event. There were 110 entries registered with only 18 places making it to the money. Ali Imsirovic, who had several runs at first place on several events, finished first in the event, also earning his second first-place finish. Imsirovic is used to picking up success in Poker Masters; the live edition back in 2018 had him as the overall winner, taking the championship title. During that same series, he won two different events, and, with his latest victory, he took the first-place prize of $277,096.60.
