PokerStars announces first-ever EPT Cyprus stop

PokerStars announced this week plans to take the European Poker Tour to Cyprus for the first time. From October 11th to 22nd, the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa plays host to an action-packed schedule of events. The venue has quickly become one of the poker community's premier destinations for high stakes events. Most recently, Merit played host to the Triton Super High Roller Series Cyprus.

Additionally, there are also a number of Eureka Poker Tour events taking place alongside the EPT events. The full schedules, along with further information, for the EPT and Eureka Poker Tour events in Cyprus are now available. Below, you'll find details covering the highlights of the schedules.

Eureka Poker Tour

  • $1,100 Eureka Main Event: October 12-16
  • $550 Eureka Cup: October 14-15
  • $2,200 Eureka High Roller: October 15-16

European Poker Tour

  • EPT $50,000 Super High Roller: October 15-17
  • EPT $5,300 Main Event: October 16-22
  • EPT $3,000 Mystery Bounty: October 18-20

Away from the tables, Cyprus has much to offer in terms of fun and attractions, including the Players Party on October 18th, featuring a live set from DJ Gianluca Viacchi. There are other non-poker activities on offer, such as a football tournament, Jeep safari, a wine and cheese pairing, and an island boat trip. Players and guests can sign up for these activities at the PokerStars Travel Desk located within the venue.

Players will also have access to the all-inclusive buffet located just outside the tournament area. There will also be a players' lounge open from 6pm-midnight each day, offering snacks, drinks, and entertainment throughout the festival. Online qualifiers and Power Path winners will receive unique merchandise and a dedicated liaison.
