PokerStars has dropped the complete 2023 schedule of stops for the Stars-sponsored European Poker Tour, beginning with the first of two new stops for the EPT, at Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile in Paris, France, in February. The EPT will also make its debut at Merit Royal Diamond Hotel & Casino & Spa in Kyrenia, Cyprus with a stop in mid-October.

The complete 2023 EPT schedule will be comprised of five stops, including return visits to Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Prague. The dates for each stop are as follows:

  • EPT Paris – February 15-26, 2023
  • EPT Monte Carlo – April 26-May 6, 2023
  • EPT Barcelona – August 21-September 3, 2023
  • EPT Cyprus – October 11-22, 2023
  • EPT Prague – December 6-17, 2023

The three returning EPT events also return to the specific venues that hosted EPT venues in earlier years. Those include, chronologically, the Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo, Casino Barcelona, and the Hilton Prague.

EPT Paris qualifiers already underway

PokerStars and the EPT have begun offering online satellites into the EPT Paris main event. As of yesterday, December 1, online qualifiers will collect a seat-and-lodging package valued at €7,400. The package includes the €5,300 buy-in for the Paris main event and eight nights’ accommodation at Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile.

The €5,300 buy-in is common to all five EPT main events being offered in 2023, though each stop also includes smaller preliminary events and at least one high-roller tourney. Seat packages offered for the other 2023 EPT stops will also include the €5,300 main-event buy-in but could vary slightly in overall value due to differences in the cost of accommodations and the length of the festival.

According to Cedric Billot, PokerStars' Head of Global Live Event Operations, "We’re incredibly excited to announce our schedule for The European Poker Tour 2023. The schedule includes our players’ firm favorites, the first time in the glamorous French capital and another exciting new addition to the tour. Cyprus is the perfect location to add to our schedule and we look forward to bringing all that an EPT has to offer to this new location. We will continue to improve player experience both for online qualifications and at our live events."
