The poker pro is working his way toward another win in his long list of accomplishments

There are many professional poker players participating in huge online events now, while the coronavirus pandemic gives the world space before resuming regular activities. The 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker series is underway and includes several impressive events for high rollers. The SCOOP-57-H: $5,200 NLHE [High Roller] concluded its Day 1 of the competition after a field of 184 entries was reduced to 20 and the bubble was burst. One of the top leaders of this championship, and holder of the fourth largest chip stack, is Lex “L. Veldhuis” Veldhuis.

Veldhuis is returning to Day 2 of the competition fully loaded with 4,421,903 chips to his name. The Dutchman was streaming his poker action even though he entered late; however, unlike previous High Roller tournaments of the 2020 SCOOP, all three major setup hands during late stages ended up in his favor.

One hand, in particular, stand out. Veldhuis put his hands in a massive pot when he defeated Samuel “€urop€an” Vousden with his turned quad sevens, and he crushed Vousden’s full house. Another great hand was against the Aces of Naoya “nkeyno” Kihara, who he defeated with his straight against a flush draw. Veldhuis also sent Juan “Malaka$tyle” Pardo to the rails with his king-high straight and flush draw, against a set of nines.

The top three spots in this online championship are in the hands of the Canadian “BOOGANDEHAH,” the Dutchman Job “DeadNylan” Greben and Hungary’s “xnrobix.” This is a tough battle against plenty of other notable professional players who are present, and it is yet too soon to predict a winner.
