The World Poker Tour continues efforts to become a truly global tournament host as they add another international stop to this year's schedule. WPT Korea takes over the Jeju Shinhwa World this July with a multi-million dollar guarantee schedule of eighteen events. Notably, the festival will feature the second WPT Alpha 8 For One Drop event.

The action kicks off on July 15th, beginning with preliminary events and a Main Event satellite, and carries on until the 24th. The first of three Main Event starting flights gets underway on July 17th. The buy-in for the Main Event is ₩3.4 million (~$2,550) with a guaranteed prize-pool of ₩2 billion (~$1.5 million).

The Alpha 8 For One Drop two-day event begins July 23rd and is likely to attract several of the world's top competitors, along with many recreational businessmen looking to test their skills against the best. The One Drop Foundation will receive a portion of each entry fee from the event to continue their charitable endeavors across the world.

In the days between the Main Event and the Alpha 8 For One Drop, there are plenty of events for players to partake in. The ₩17 million (~$12,735) High Roller event begins on July 21st and is positioned nicely in the schedule between the other two notable events.

Satellites for the marquee events will run daily, including a five-seat guarantee for the Main Event which will utilize the new Milestone format. The complete schedule is available now for players to plan around.

Fans from around the world can tune in live to see all the action from the Main Event and the High Roller on the WPT YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook channels.
