The World Poker Tour will offer more than $22 million in prize pool guarantees through the course of its just announced WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas festival in December. The series, which runs December 1-20, 2022, includes 23 separate events.

Headlining the 20-day festival is the series' main event, the WPT World Championship. The no-limit hold'em event features a $10,400 buy-in and $15 million guarantee. It's joined by several other prominent offerings, including the WPT Prime Championship, with its $1,100 buy-in and $2 million guarantee, the inaugural WPT Ladies Championship, which carries a $1,100 buy-in for female competitors and a $200,000 guarantee, and another edition of the Wynn Mystery Bounty, which has been a massive success in earlier Wynn series. The bounty event carries a $1,600 buy-in, with a top bounty of $100,000 available.

Sixteen of the 23 events in the festival are no-limit hold'em, also including Seniors and Turbo Bounty tourneys, plus the festival closer, the $600 Tag Team Bomb Pot. Other formats to be offered include pot-limit Omaha (PLO), limit Omaha-8, H.O.R.S.E., and an 8-game mix event. The complete WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas schedule can be found here.

“Our goal is to develop the WPT World Championship into one of the most talked about poker events of the year,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “Partnering with Wynn Las Vegas has allowed us to put the player experience first and the festival schedule reflects that.”

“We are proud of the reputation Wynn Las Vegas has for running world-class events,” added Ryan Beauregard, the Executive Director of Poker Operations at Wynn Las Vegas. “In partnership with WPT, the upcoming World Championship will be no different and solidify our spot as a major poker destination.”

The WPT and Wynn Las Vegas has also added what is described as a "robust" lineup of satellites into several of the headline events. At least 220 seats are guaranteed, including a December 11 50-seat feeder into the WPT World Championship. Other satellites offer additional seats into that $10,400 tourney, in addition to satellites feeding the WPT Prime Championship, the WPT Ladies Championship, and the Mystery Bounty tourneys.
