There’s nothing like running deep in a massive multi-table tournament. There’s something extra special when it’s a World Poker Tour event.
The $3,500 Main Event at Seminole Hard Rock Casino and Hotel saw 2,290 entrants sit down with the hopes of finding that feeling. As Day 2 draws to a close and players are in the money, for 208 of those players, the feeling is only getting bigger.
With over $1 million dollars up top, here are the payouts waiting for the eventual final table, to take place in Vegas in late May.
WPT Seminole Main Event final table payouts
With a deep structure, long levels, and massive payouts in play, the cream rises to the top, as they say. Some of the top tournament players in the game are still in the mix.
As I write this, Steve Buckner sits atop the leaderboard with 2,050,000 chips. Behind him, you’ll find Natasha Mercier (1,225,000), David “ODB” Baker (1,200,000), Taylor Von Kriegenbergh (1,121,000), Chance Kornuth (880,000), Nick Palma (660,000), Kristen Foxen (405,000), WPT Global Ambassador Ethan “Rampage” Yau (375,000), Andrew Moreno (367,000), Michael Rossitto (364,500), Niall Ferrell (350,000), Conrad Simpson (346,500), Loni Hui (320,000), Eric Afriat (310,000), Ryan Reiss (270,000), Jeremy Ausmus (260,000), and Alex Foxen (260,000).
Whew. That’s a lot of big names battling it out here in the sunshine state. Play is nearly over for the night, so we’ll see who still has some moves left in them this evening, and who will be left wondering how they didn’t find a bag.
Either way, we’ll be back tomorrow for Day 3. Play will start at 12:00 pm and play until 16 players remain. Levels will still be 60 minutes long until we reach 40 players, then they will move to 90 minutes long.
Best of luck to players still in. Enjoy one of the best feelings in poker: running deep in a big WPT tournament.
