WSOP has announced details of the final stop for the 19th season of the WSOP Circuit, which will play out at The Commerce Casino & Hotel in Los Angeles, May 10-24.

There will be 18 rings up for grabs in LA, and every winner will get an automatic entry into the Tournament of Champions. The three-day Main Event starts on May 16, with three opening flights, followed by the Tournament of Champions, which plays out May 22-24.

Ty Stewart, Senior Vice President & Executive Director of the WSOP said, “For years, the Commerce has been the home of poker in Los Angeles and one of the leading card rooms in the world. We look forward to kicking off our new strategic relationship with a special WSOP Circuit finale and the Tournament of Champions bracelet event."

Back-to-back millions at WSOPC LA

The $1,700 WSOPC Main Event boasts a $1 million guarantee, and the WSOP has confirmed that the ToC will be a $1 million freeroll and follow a similar format to last year's event. All ring and bracelet winners from live and online events during the 19th season will get an official invite to play, and you can find a full list of players who have qualified here.

Other highlights of the stop include the $1,100 Mystery Bounty NLHE($100K guarantee), and $2,200 High Roller NLHE, as well as $400 PLO and H.O.R.S.E. events. The WSOPC Los Angeles will kick off with a $600 Housewarming NLHE event with a $500k guarantee and end with satellites where you can win an $11K package (buy-in and $1K travel) for the 2024 WSOP Main Event. You can find the full schedule for WSOPC LA here.

There has been a backlash from players about the location of this year's ToC and the late notice of the announcement, with expectations that it would be played in Las Vegas during the WSOP. The Tournament of Champions has traditionally been held in Las Vegas. However, the WSOPC National Championship has been played in Circuit locations before, such as Cherokee. The last two events under the Tournament of Champions name have been part of the WSOP summer festival.
