The World Series of Poker’s contract with the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is coming to an end after the 2021 WSOP live bracelet series. It has been widely speculated that future WSOP bracelet events will be held at Bally’s Hotel & Casino and the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. This year’s series, which is currently scheduled to run from September 30 through November 23, will be the last time that poker players, fans, and industry workers will have the chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of the WSOP in the Rio Convention Center.
The 2021 WSOP live series will likely draw some massive fields. Poker players are starving for live poker after the 2020 series had to be canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions, and the final chance to play at the location that has been home to the WSOP since 2005 should serve as a draw as well. In anticipation of these crowds, Caesars Entertainment is in the process of hiring help for multiple positions.
There are currently six positions available for the WSOP 2021 series listed on the Caesars Entertainment job board:
- Poker Dealer ($15 Per Down Guaranteed)
- Poker Floor Supervisors/Managers – Temporary
- Tournament Clerk – Temporary
- Cage / Caesars Rewards Supervisor – Temporary
- Cage Cashier / Caesars Rewards Rep – Temporary
- AML Clerk – Temporary
For poker fans that work in the industry or are interested in doing so, being a part of the final series at the Rio as a staff member instead of a player could be an intriguing option.
