The 2026 Ladies Event kicked into high gear on Friday night, bursting through the money bubble before jumping under the lights for a night of livestreamed WSOP action.

A field that started with a record 1,475 entries on Thursday returned with 338 players for Friday's Day 2 and a sprint to the bubble — set at 222 players with a min-cash of $2,001.

After a long day, the list of cashing players who won't return on Saturday has women like Victoria Livschitz (189th), 2009 Ladies champ Lisa Hamilton (175th), 2011 champ Marsha Wolak (125th), Vivian Saliba (93rd), Maria Konnikova (83rd), and Rania Nasreddine (61st).

What remains is a field of 48 players, all guaranteed at least $4,123, with a record top prize of $194,630 waiting for the winner.

Let's take a look at the full field for Day 3, with unofficial overnight chip stacks from the WSOP LIVE app:

The top ten

Three top stacks all bunch together for the leading pace, starting with Aubrey Williams. Williams finished 143rd last year, so the 2026 event is already a big leap forward. Shannon Fahey is neck-and-neck, sharing the effective co-lead, and Cherish Andrews rounds out the three.

Cherish Andrews can improve on her 8th-place finish from 2021. Cherish Andrews can improve on her 8th-place finish from 2021.

Andrews previously finished eighth in this event in 2021, but she's been rising in stakes and proving herself at the WSOP and elsewhere. She would likely be the betting favorite if opening lines were to drop tomorrow morning.

Andrews is followed by Emily Spencer, who has already cashed at Salute to Warriors this year, and Lexy Gavin-Mather, who finished seventh in that event.

Meanwhile, Svetlana Gromenkova, the 2008 Ladies champ, is one of two winners remaining in the field.

  1. Aubrey Williams - 1.7M
  2. Shannon Fahey - 1.7M
  3. Cherish Andrews - 1.6M
  4. Emily Spencer - 1.2M
  5. Lexy Gavin-Mather - 1.2M
  6. Skye Chen - 1M
  7. Lee Ilagan - 1M
  8. Svetlana Gromenkova - 975K
  9. Sondra Lacoy - 930K
  10. Kimura Nao - 915K
Jessica Teusl is one of two former champs remaining in the field. Jessica Teusl is one of two former champs remaining in the field.

Outside the top ten, Jessica Teusl lurks as the other remaining former Ladies champ. Angela Jordison also sits with over 50 big blinds and plenty of firepower for Day 3. Jordison is closing in on $2M in lifetime earnings, according to the Hendon Mob, and a win would put her over the top.

Comeskey held court on the livestream throughout the evening, at one point leaning into her maternal instincts (her words) when Paulina Loelinger shared that she had not eaten all day.

Comeskey insisted on sharing a snack from her purse, but the snack was gone because she had already enjoyed it herself.
