The poker room at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas will return to its original location on Tuesday for the first time since June 2024, leaving its current venue after just a few months among the retail shops on Appian Way.

Caesars closed the room last year to make space for a high-limit slot area. The poker venue reopened in May of 2025, but in a new spot, with a three-phase plan to expand further into retail corridor at the Vegas resort.

Expansion plans shift

It now appears the expansion is on hold. Plans originally called for a three-month construction project to create space for 25 tables in a clothing store next to the temporary poker room. The room will now move back to its original spot near the sportsbook

Top designers at Caesars will turn the small room into a world-class poker den. The temporary Caesars Poker Room was opened in May of this year.

The return will feature 16 tables, with regular perks to continue like the $3/hour comps and free parking for Nevada locals. A daily tournament schedule posted by the room shows $100 buy-ins every day at 10am, 2pm, 6pm, and 9pm. Each offer a $1,000 guarantee with 20-minute levels and a $50 add-on. Caesars also posted details of the room's rake, with $1/3 pulling in 10% from the pot with a max of $6. Rake for $2/5 and $5/5 sit lower at 5% with the same max. Mixed games, PLO, and limit will all rake 10%.

Caesars is among three poker rooms to return in 2025, with its sister property Planet Hollywood taking over a new space just before the WSOP. Green Valley Ranch, a popular locals casino in Henderson, also re-opened its poker room this year.
