ClubWPT Gold exiting Nevada?: Users based in Nevada have shared an email announcement from the site that states it will be "winding down" its services in the state due to operational changes made in response to regulatory action. 

Sweepstakes gameplay on the site will reportedly be unavailable from September 28 onwards. ClubWPT Gold also recommends that players submit any redemption requests before October 2. 

As of the time of writing, no confirmation of the announcement has come from the site. 

If the news is true, and it looks to be, the timing couldn't be worse with the big winter series looming ahead.

Phil Nagy responds: In a lengthy post to social media, WPN/ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy responded to specific complaints about the site's withdrawal system and clarified its policies. 

Nagy acknowledged and took ownership for errors made in communications with players, but firmly reiterated that overall liquidity was not an issue and that the policies in question exist due to money laundering concerns.
