Following an early exit at the $10K GGMillion$ PLO final table on Monday, Daniel Negreanu returned to bracelet hunting in the 2026 WSOP Online streets on Wednesday.
After bagging up the third-largest stack headed into the final day of play in the $25K High Roller Championship, only 13 players separated the Poker Hall of Famer from a ninth bracelet.
With the eliminations of several short-stacked players – including Jans Arends, Christoph Vogelsang, Leon Sturm, and Pedro Padilha – the final table of nine came together. Negreanu was in a comfortable spot to start proceedings, but with experienced online crushers like Pedro Neves, Casimir Seire, and Ole Schemion at the table it was always going to be a battle.
Daniel's downfall
With audiences across the globe watching on through his YouTube livestream, Negreanu got off to a good start.
After busting Parahat Nurmuhammedov with 
against

board, he took control of the chip lead with seven players remaining. Unfortunately, that lead didn't last long and he slipped back down into the middle of the pack.
Then, in a three-way clash with Roman Emelyanov and Schemion, he had a chance to score a double knockout.

Negreanu had both players covered, but the 
runout saw Schemion haul in a massive pot as Emelyanov hit the rail. The pay ladder added more than $50,000 to his winnings, but Negreanu had his eye on the win – and the bracelet. Despite the big pick up, Schemion went on to bust shortly after in sixth place.
With the blinds on the rise, Negreanu sunk further into the danger zone. Still, he managed to double up more than once to keep himself afloat – even eliminating Neves in fifth place with

In the very next hand, it all came crashing down.
Despite the presence of two shorter stacks, Negreanu was playing for the win and happily called off his last 28 big blinds with 
in a blind versus blind clash with Seire.
The Canadian was well ahead of the Finn's 
, but the 
runout saw his opponent make two pair to steal the pot.
"F**k, he beat me," said a frustrated Negreanu. "That was it, guys, that was our chance to win the tournament right there. You really can't ask for a better spot than that. I had a bad feeling, too."
With Negreanu's elimination, Seire made quick work of his two remaining opponents to claim the bracelet.
