Yoon Choi came into this series with cashes all up and down the American poker tournament circuit. Over the past six years of tournament playing, he had acquired hundreds of thousands of dollars in live cashes. A live win eluded him, that was until this event.

976 entrants came out to play Event #34: $580 Mirror Mystery Bounty, to generate a prize pool worth $488,000 that was evenly split between the tournament payouts and bounty prizes. As the clock ticked to 1:30 AM, Elise Rosen and Choi's heads up match came to a close as the New Jersey player took home his first Borgata trophy.

"I'm feeling very tired," the new champion admitted after his win, "obviously I ran good and got lucky. I was at risk multiple times and I got there. Just got to get there."

Choi had come out to play a significant chunk of the series and ends it strong with a BetMGM trophy to go along with the Borgata one.

"I just take it one hand at a time," Choi said as far as his own mentality throughout final tables is concerned. "Try to stay in the moment."

"The strategy does shift," he continued in addressing the existence of the bounties in play. "There weren't any huge bounties remaining, so it wasn't a huge consideration but definitely a consideration."

As far as plans with the money "More tournaments, maybe some investing, and some saving."

New York is next on the docket for Choi as he heads up north during these wintery seasons.
