The prize pool for Day 2 of the $1,700 Main Event has officially been announced: 1,681 entrants across two starting flights created a total prize pool of $2,546,715, with the winner taking home $363,703, the gold WSOP Circuit ring, and the $5,000 Package to Paradise.  

The 183 players that made it into Day 2 have all secured a min-cash of $4,271, and the first pay jump of the day will be at 125th place, where the score jumps to $4,484.

Make it into the top 35, and you score yourself the first five-figure score of the event at $10,525, and if you make the final table of nine, you walk away with at least $30,194, while the first six-figure score is at fourth place at $124,782.

As bags were being passed out around the room, Thomas Beckstead (1,116,000) sent Chad Pease home in 109th place on one of the last hands of the night to wrestle the chip lead away from Jason Dewitt (1,042,000) to lead the 108 survivors from Day 1B of the $1,700 Main Event.

The 108 remaining players will now join the 75 players who found a bag on Day 1A for the Day 2 restart at 12:00 pm inside the Cherokee Tower Conference Center on Sunday. 

Rounding out the top five of the chip counts for Day 1B are Toby Boas (998,000), Curtis King (881,000), WSOP U.S. Circuit manager TJ Reid (868,000), and Caio De Lucca Sobral (868,000), who held the chip lead for the majority of Day 1B.

In total, 1,033 entrants created a Day 1B prize pool of $1,564,995, with the top 155 players scoring a min-cash of $3,424, and unlike yesterday, which saw a nearly 1.5-hour bubble with roughly ten doubles by the short stacks, Day 1B reached the money without even having to start the hand-for-hand process. 

That prize pool will now be combined with the $981,720 from Day 1A to create the overall tournament prize pool of $2,546,715, and a complete list of payouts, along with the seat draw for Day 2, will be available later this morning in the highlights tab above.
