Matt Higgins added another major accomplishment to an already loaded poker resume, taking down Event #13: $1,700 No Limit Hold’em Main Event at the Horseshoe Tunica World Series of Poker Circuit for $110,851 and his 10th WSOP Circuit ring.

Matt Higgins opened the button to 250,000 before Daniel Garner moved all in from the big blind for about 1,700,000. Higgins called, and the cards hit their backs.

Garner tabled before Higgins tabled .

The flop gave Garner top pair, but the turn gave Higgins a flush. Garner was drawing dead, and the river did not mean a thing. 

The final pot was pushed to the new Tunica Main Event champ, Matt Higgins.

These two players have battled through two days of play, a ton of action, and a field of 367 players in the Tunica Circuit Main Event. They are finally down to heads-up play, and the money and ring are on the line.

Despite some swings, Matt Higgins enters heads-up play with close to a 2:1 chip lead. However, Daniel Garner has put on a masterful performance so far at this final table, and enters heads-up play with plenty of chips to put up a fight.

Each player has already locked up $74,824, but the ring and a healthy $110K wait for the winner. This could be fast or go on for hours. Lock in!

Bradley Pollard

Bradley Pollard opened the button to 200,000 before Daniel Garner called from the small blind, and Matt Higgins called from the big blind.

The flop landed, and it checked to Pollard, who bet a large size of 475,000. Only Higgins put in the chips, and the hit the turn.

The action slowed down and checked through on the turn before the hit the river.

Higgins thought for a moment before announcing he was all in, covering Pollard's stack, which sat at about 1,200,000. Pollard seemed to be in a brutal spot, but eventually he put in the chips and got the bad news.

Higgins tabled got the flopped straight, and Pollard had rivered top pair with . The pot was pushed to Higgins, who entered heads-up play with the chip lead.
