Along with Zachary Fischer's Main Event triumph, there were still two more WSOP Circuit rings to be awarded on the final day of the Cherokee series.
The $2,200 High Roller saw Ari Engel make a push for a record 20th ring, but his quest was derailed in 3rd place, leaving former two-time Cherokee Main Event champion and five-time ring winner Donovan Dean to battle with recent WSOP bracelet winner Mark Darner for the title.
In the end, it was Darner claiming his second piece of WSOP hardware along with the $63,362 first prize, along with a $5,000 package to WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas this December.
