From September 19-26, eight of the game's most popular live streamers will take part in Poker Champs – a $500,000 heads-up tournament hosted by ClubWPT Gold and Doug Polk, who will be covering each matchup with cards-up commentary.
While all of the action plays out on the ClubWPT Gold platform, each of the participants will livestream their unique perspectives throughout each round, allowing audiences to follow along with their favorite streamers.
In the first round, the eight players will square off in best-of-three heads-up matches to determine who reaches the semifinals.
The four winners all make the money, a minimum of $50,000.
The two players eliminated in the semis will then fight for the third-place prize of $75,000 while the two finalists duke it out to see who goes home with the $250,000 first-place prize and who will have to settle for the $125,000 heading to the runner-up.
Thus far, there are four confirmed players: Alexandra Botez, xQc, sodapoppin, and erobb221.
Audiences can also watch Poker Champs on host and ClubWPT Gold Ambassador Doug Polk's YouTube channel where he'll show hole cards for both players, along with their webcam POVs, and commentate over the play.

While we don't yet know the other four competitors, ClubWPT Gold has made it clear that none of the players involved will be professional poker players.
