There's a new kid on the poker vlogging block.
On Monday, November 16, 2024 PokerGO Tour (PGT) Champion and high stakes professional Jeremy Ausmus released the first episode of his new YouTube series – aptly titled All-In With Ausmus. While it's not his first foray into the YouTube streets (who can forget the dulcet tones of Ausmus' Hey, Mighty Poker Gods or Pocket Jacks?), it's the first time he's provided a direct insight into his poker mind on the platform.
According to the video description, All-In with Ausmus will document his "full journey defending the PGT title—one event at a time."
In the first episode, Ausmus takes viewers through his run in Event #1 of the 2025 PGT Poker Masters as he squares off against a who's who of the poker world – including an impressive hero call against one of the game's greatest, Erik Seidel.
Ausmus vs. Seidel
After failing to find bag chips on Day 1A of the tournament, Ausmus returned to the PokerGO Studio to take another shot on Day 1B – and his luck turned for the better. With a rush of premium holdings to spur him on, Ausmus chipped up consistently in the early levels. Then, a key hand against Seidel saw him put to the test.
With the blinds at 4K/8K and about 400K in each player's stack, Seidel kicked off the action with a raise from the lo-jack to 16K. Ausmus looked down at and fired in a three-bet to 50K, which Seidel called. The
flop failed to improve Ausmus and, in the face of a check from his opponent, he opted to check back to see the
turn.
Seidel took the initiative on the turn and tossed out a bet of 40K.
"I don't have much here, just ace-high," Ausmus explains via voiceover. "I might have over cards that would probably be good if I hit them, but not too sure about that. I could just have the best hand, though, as it is."
After thinking through the spot, Ausmus made the call to bring in the river. With 200K in the middle, Seidel bet 150K – putting Ausmus in a tough spot.
"Erik is obviously a poker legend and a great player," Ausmus tells viewers. "I decide he will find enough bluffs here and I slide the call out. He doesn't show his hand and instead just throws it in the muck."
High stakes content on the rise
Ausmus isn't the only high stakes professional to step into the content game in recent months. While he hasn't yet committed to a full-blown, long-form vlog channel, Seth Davies has taken to Twitter/X and Instagram to pull back the curtain on his own experience in the high stakes poker world.
Davies offers a no-holds-barred look into the highs and lows of tournament poker at the elite level – along with plenty of incredible stories that you may not hear otherwise.
