Patrick Leonard grabbed two SCOOP titles in a matter of minutes on Saturday for a record-breaking 15 career wins in the popular online series.
'Pads' Leonard, who had already notched three titles in three days earlier this month, picked up the back-to-back titles in both the Medium and High versions of 8-Game mixed poker to jump over Simon Mattsson and Jerry Odeen on a fast-changing all-time leaderboard.
'Pads' breaks leaderboard logjam
Mattsson, who led the way in 2025 with five SCOOP wins, jumped over Benny Glaser earlier in the series to claim the top spot for a brief time. He was eventually joined in the 14-win logjam by Odeen, Glaser, and the red-hot 'FAL1st.'
Leonard would pass all of them with his double play, taking the $109 Medium edition of the 8-Game for $5,088 and the $530 High for $9,176, all in the course of about 10 minutes. He would also jump in the low version, but that effort finished much earlier in 212nd place. Add that to his second-place finish in the $15,000 Big Bet at PGT Mixed Games for a big start in mixed games events in 2026.
