Three-time Super Bowl champion Richard Seymour nearly added a World Poker Tour title to his Hall of Fame resume, but an errant flop gave Ian Cohen the win in Florida on Wednesday night.

Cohen won $645,800 for the effort and scored a seat for December's WPT World Championship, leaving Seymour with the runner-up finish and $430,000.

It's a new high score for the former defensive lineman, beating a massive $376K High Roller finish at the 2018 PCA. Seymour has been notching entries on Hendon Mob since 2014.

For his part, Cohen entered the day as the chip leader and closed the deal in style for a permanent place in the Champions Club and a spot on the Mike Sexton Cup

The top prize more than doubles his previous $573K in earnings, mostly racked up on various circuits throughout Florida and Las Vegas. His previous top win was in the WSOPC Pompano Beach Main Event in 2024, where he won $193K and his first WSOPC ring.
