It's latest addition? Bert 'girafganger7' Stevens.
While Stevens may not have the name recognition of Mario Mosböck or Patrick Leonard within the live tournament arena, those familiar with the online tournament streets will immediately understand the magnitude of the signing. For the better part of the last decade, Stevens has established himself as a force in the online multi-table tournament community – both as a skilled player and one of the most entertaining streamers.
While most content creators share their gameplay using high-powered, state-of-the-art streaming setups, Stevens goes live from the sanctity of a windowless barnyard attic on a farm in Belgium. The raw setup and Stevens' chaotic live-streaming presence offers an authenticity that attracts no shortage of loyal fans.
After time away from the streaming streets, Stevens has made a triumphant return – under the CoinPoker banner.
Stevens' chapter of poker history
Stevens' crowning achievement in the online realm came with his victory in the 2023 WSOP Online Main Event. The Belgian defeated a field of 6,023 entrants to claim the $2,783,432 first-place prize, along with his first WSOP bracelet. In typical fashion, Stevens' streamed the entirety of the final table from his farm attic – and the celebration when he won immediately cemented the moment in online poker history.

PokerOrg reached out to Stevens to learn more about his decision to partner with CoinPoker.
Your approach to poker seems to differ from most professionals on your level – how did your style of play come about? Is this how you've always played or has your game morphed and grown with the times?
I would say I'm a lot different than most professionals so of course my play is tailored to that. Most of my play and style stems from a deep understanding of the game and experimenting with what works for me and the current metas. I'm constantly trying to find new ones as well, like my infamous min-bet and 3-bet sizing to 6.9.

What aspect of CoinPoker's site gets you most excited about representing them as an ambassador?
So, being that I worked with CoinPoker before the upgrades and was one of the early ambassadors to promote it coming out, I'd say I'm actually most excited about showcasing ALL OF IT! Now I get to see what I was talking about months ago in real time and actually play on it!
Can you give us any backstory on your online moniker?
Ya, of course. The Giraf was actually a Belgian bar that I both worked in and lived upstairs out of. It's where I started playing online after work and developed the early stages of my play and knowledge. Girafganger literally translates to 'Giraf Goer' because I was just always there!
Does live poker interest you at all these days or are you strictly an online player?
I consider myself an exclusively online player, but here and there I can be tempted to play live. In fact my manager and friend APK will be covering the WSOPE so I plan on making an appearance to support him. Hoping to play the Main!
