Hustler Casino Live regular Britney Jing has been put on hiatus from the livestream while a series of allegations are investigated.
The announcement was made on the Hustler Casino Live X account after over a week of allegations and counter-allegations made on social media.
The post read, "We are aware of the various allegations concerning Britney and take them seriously... We will not draw conclusions before that review is complete."
The statement continued, "Britney will take a break from appearing on Hustler Casino Live while we conduct the review."
With social media flooded with escalating allegations following an initial post and video from Chengsi Ye, aka C Ye, that could take a while.
Britney has been one of the most regular players on the stream over the past year, but any future appearances could now be under threat.
What is Britney accused of?
The dispute started between two high-stakes cash game players, who play under the names Britney and C Ye.
It started with an unpaid $18,000 debt, but that’s become increasingly inconsequential as the dispute has gathered momentum and other allegations have come to light.
In an initial video, C Ye claimed that Britney had bought 30% of her action and made around $140,000 from the staking arrangement.
Then, C Ye lost $60K in a session and claimed that Britney refused to pay the $18,000.
Britney alleged that C Ye had underreported her winnings from a private game at the Venetian on June 7. C Ye said she won $190,000 but Britney claimed $80,000 was unaccounted for at the end of the game.
Britney said that Venetian staff had checked surveillance footage and that C Ye's actual chip count at the end differed from what she reported. Britney also said they later contacted someone at the Venetian who found an internal record relating to that surveillance inquiry.
C Ye contacted the Venetian and in a recorded message played on a Charlie Carrel YouTube video, a security employee said that nothing had been flagged against her name for any dates around June 7. He also said that any surveillance footage from June 7 would have been deleted by June 22 (the date Britney claims the footage was checked).
Who’s on who’s side?
As is customary when an HCL dispute pops up, several familiar names have now entered the chat.
Nik Airball was in the June 7 Venetian game but hasn't commented directly. Britney has cited information about his result as part of her argument that the numbers from the game don't add up.
HCL owner Ryan Feldman initially came out strongly on the side of Britney, posting, "I believe and support Britney. She would never not pay someone, especially $18K. This whole thing is silly."
Wesley Fei started posting and said he was pursuing “truth and justice.” Garrett Adelstein acknowledged he had no info about the actual Britney/C Ye dispute before using the opportunity to resume hostilities with Feldman and Airball.
Xuan Liu posted a YouTube video defending Britney's character and relaying what she had been told about the Venetian surveillance claim, but also said, “Quite frankly, I think this is rather embarrassing for everyone involved.”
Liu has since followed up with an X post saying, "I don’t know what happened between Britney and C Ye... I just said exactly what I was told."
The HCL dispute escalates
The latest, and more serious, claims center on Britney staking multiple players in the same games and potential collusion. It has also been claimed that she has had a lot of influence over the Hustler Casino Live lineups.
Fei started posting these allegations across his social media account on X.
He alleged that in a 2023 game at the Bicycle Casino, Britney had bought action from a number of players at the same table, making it effectively seven vs one. He stopped short of accusing any of the players of colluding in the game.
The player allegedly targeted was another HCL regular, Peter Wang.
This game produced another allegation over missing chips, with Britney refusing to settle until casino records and surveillance footage was examined.
Wang also featured in a hand from Hustler Casino Live that has come under scrutiny.
Wang subsequently accused Britney of colluding against him in the hand, although players who have analysed the footage are divided over whether it shows evidence of collusion.
Carrel said he would have played the hand the same way as Jack and didn't believe the hand alone was enough evidence to establish collusion.
Matt Berkey quote-tweeted the hand and said: "Idk if Jack & Britney have done business or not, but this hand is a prime example of why you CANNOT play squid with people you don't fully trust. Any swapping/buying of action among the pool immediately creates these monkey in the middle collusion spots that are fleecing the target. Peter recognized he was compromised in this hand immediately."
More allegations come out
Coco Yu, a friend of Wang's, subsequently posted a video in Mandarin which she claims showed Britney discussing bringing her own "horses" into games.
According to Yu's translation and interpretation of the conversation, Britney talked about bringing players she backed into games.
Yu also claims that Britney and her sister made a social media account for Wang and never gave him the password.
Other players have made allegations against Britney, including Triton regular Aaron Zang.
As outlined in a video from UK pro Charlie Carrel, Zang claims that Britney had been organizing games in Shanghai for years, buying action from players who played against VIPs.
Zang called Britney a "habitual liar" and made more allegations about "unfair practices" in games.
Carrel also claims that multiple players have told him about an online game set up by Britney in which a wealthy recreational player was allegedly led to believe he was playing against another recreational player, when the account was actually being played by a professional backed by Britney.
Britney Jing won't be appearing on Hustler Casino Live while its review is conducted. This week's Max Pain Monday is being headlined by Frankie C and Sashimi.
