CoinPoker has extended its 100% rakeback promotion through Stage 2 of its March campaign following feedback from players.
The original promotion offered site-wide 100% rakeback across all games during Stage 1 – the first two weeks of March – before shifting to a mix of rakeback and leaderboard rewards during Stage 2. Instead, the site has now opted to continue the full rakeback offer through the end of the month.
From March 16-31, players will now receive 100% rakeback across both cash games and tournaments. During the same period, CoinPoker will also roll out its CoinRaces cash game leaderboards, which will distribute $1,000,000 in prizes each week.
According to the announcement, the CoinRaces system is expected to become a core component of the site’s cash game rewards moving forward.
Recently, PokerOrg spoke with CoinPoker ambassador Mario Mosböck to gain a better understanding of the site's plans as it enters what the company describes as a new chapter.
In the interview, Mosböck addressed the player reaction that led to the promotional pivot and discussed the upcoming increase to the site’s rake cap, scheduled to take effect on April 1.
He also discussed the new rewards the site plans to introduce, saying: “I think it's really crucial for CoinPoker to incentivize players who contribute to the ecology and keep liquidity and the games running.”
New features coming to CoinPoker
CoinPoker’s announcement also outlined several upcoming features you can expect to see soon.
- Dedicated bomb pot tables – Double boards and larger pots right from the start.
- Cash game show tables – Want to know what your opponent was holding? Soon, you'll be able to find out.
- Splash the Pot – A new reward function coming to the All-In or Fold tables.
The new features follow CoinPoker’s recently revamped software client, which launched at the start of March. Over the next two weeks, the site says it will “work closely” with the community while rolling out updates and addressing player feedback.
