Following the success of its dual Venom Progressive Knockout (PKO) tournaments in October of 2024, ACR Poker has announced dates and details for another run in 2025.
Both Venom events – the NLH PKO and the PLO PKO, each priced at a $2,650 buy-in – kick off on October 12 with Day 1A action. The NLH PKO features a $5M guarantee and the PLO PKO features a $1.5M guarantee.

ACR Pros Chris Moorman and Chris Moneymaker will be in the mix for the Venom PKO events.
In August, ACR Poker ran its Mystery Bounty iterations of the Venom, with both variants exceeding set guarantees to award over $10M in prizes.
Another Venom smash?
In 2024, both PKO Venom events surpassed set guarantees – the same figures set for 2025 – with the NLH PKO attracting a field of 2,646 entrants to generate a $6,615,000 prize pool while the PLO PKO amassed a $1,765,000 prize pool from its 706 entrants. 'TruePro' rose above the field in the NLH PKO to claim the $393,837 first-place prize along with $310,312 in bounties for a total haul of more than $700,000.
For players who want in on the action at a cheaper price point, ACR Poker will host a slew of Venom Fever satellite events. With both Direct Satellites and Mega Satellites, hundreds of Venom PKO seats will be awarded in the weeks leading up to the events.
