Greg Goes All In is one of the fastest rising poker vloggers on YouTube. But while most famous poker vloggers like Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme are popular on YouTube due to their coverage of high stakes poker action and their in-depth strategy breakdowns on big hands, Greg Goes All In focuses almost entirely on making comedy videos. And now he will have even more time and resources to focus on this passion as Greg Goes All In has been signed as a content creator by GGPoker.
For those unfamiliar with Greg Goes All In and his work, his YouTube channel is a must-follow for poker players. Virtually all of his videos are only about one to four minutes long, and they cover a range of humorous poker topics that players at all skill levels can relate to. In “telling your girlfriend bad beat stories," Greg Goes All In whines to his girlfriend about a bad beat he took only to have her point out all of the flaws in his story. “The art of bluffing” will hit home for most poker players as Greg gives a silent monologue on the strength of his bluff before being snap-called on the river.
The self-proclaimed “meme-lord” never takes himself too seriously. He is always quick to point out how bad at poker he is with a self-depreciating humor. Greg Goes All In is exactly the type of poker player and content creator that the poker community needs more of; one that can make people laugh and make casual players feel welcome to join in on the fun.
GGPoker continues to break the norms with its marketing strategies
GGPoker’s lineup of ambassadors has its share of legitimate poker superstars in Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier and Fedor Holz. But the brand has also shown a willingness to branch out beyond just established poker stars in its quest for talent.
Dan Bilzerian is one of the more controversial figures in poker, better known for his boisterous personality and massive Instagram following than he is for his skills on the table. Yet GGPoker still brought him on as an ambassador to help grow the game and brand awareness. GGPoker also sees the value in Twitch-streaming with a team called TwitchSquad that includes popular streamers like Kevin Martin, Easterdamnz, AllinPAV, and Robin Poker.
In the cases of these Twitch streamers and Dan Bilzerian, however, GGPoker was signing players who already had major followings. At the time of his hire, Greg Goes All In has only 16.6 thousand subscribers on YouTube, 1,070 followers on Instagram, and 228 followers on Twitter.
So despite a relatively small following and no big poker results on his resume, GGPoker is still bringing Greg Goes All In on as a content creator simply because he makes great content. He's relatable, funny, and will help grow the game. And as GGPoker branches into the United States with ClubGG, that appears to be good enough for them.
