We’re just days away from the very first ‘shuffle up and deal’ of the 2026 World Series of Poker.
Event #1 gets going on Tuesday, but thanks to the PokerOrg Fantasy Freeroll you don’t need to be in Las Vegas to experience the unique thrills of the WSOP.
It’s a great way to get a free sweat for the summer-long poker festival and pick up some cool prizes at the same time.
Just pick your team of 8 poker players you think will dominate at the tables during the series, and every time they cash, you’ll score points.
We’ll automatically update your scores and bring you all the news on how each player is getting along. Finish in the top 10 on our leaderboard to bag some goodies.
If that sounds easy, it is. And 100% free, too.
Let’s walk through the process and get you ready to play.
Step 1: Register as a member of The Org
If you haven’t done so already, click the ‘Register’ button at the top of this page to register for free.
You’ll not only get access to the 2026 WSOP Fantasy Freeroll but also to all the contests, giveaways, and promotions we offer all year round.
Over the past year we’ve hosted an exclusive players’ lounge at the WSOP, given away a $10K live events package, a $5K Irish Open package, and even a $30K package to the WSOP Paradise Super Main Event. All completely free to members of The Org.
Signing up takes seconds and just needs an email address. What are you waiting for?
Step 2: Name and pick your team
Got your free membership sorted? Head to our 2026 WSOP Fantasy Freeroll page.
Before the draft period opens at 4am PT on Tuesday, you’ll be able to pre-register, and we’ll send you a reminder to log back in and pick your team once selection is available.
When the draft period opens, the fun really begins.
Every team needs a name to display on the leaderboard, so go ahead and pick yourself a good one (all we ask is that it’s not too offensive).
Then it’s on to the main business at hand: selecting eight players to represent your team and clock up the points across 99 different bracelet events (we’re excluding the tag-team event).
Who makes the cut?
You can’t just choose any player in the world and hope they turn up to play. Every player included in our extensive list will be someone who has been drafted in the 25K Fantasy hosted by Daniel Negreanu.
That means our list not only includes all the biggest names with the best chances of success, but also that the prices for each player will be set by those in the know.
That’s because the 25K Fantasy uses an auction system, with teams outbidding each other to add players to their rosters.
The prices each player ultimately goes for will be used in our own fantasy draft — the difference is that in our contest any team can draft any player.
Our final list of players and prices will be available from 4am PT on Tuesday, May 26, when the contest officially opens.
Why are player prices important?
Every team has a maximum budget of $200 to assemble a winning crew. Some players will be available for as little as $1, while others are likely to command a price in triple figures.
So when picking your own team you’ll need to budget wisely to ensure you stay under the $200 cap.
Will you go for one big name with a price tag to match and fill out the rest of your team with cheap pickups you feel are undervalued?
Or would you rather choose a couple of mid-priced players, supplemented with some more reasonably priced picks?
Or simply choose an all-American team, a bunch of players from your home state, 8 guys all named 'Bob,' or only those with beards?
It’s all up to you. With 8 players to pick and a $200 budget, you have an average of $25 to spend per player, so use it wisely.

You can start building your team as soon as our draft opens on Tuesday.
If you’re logged in and have named your team, you’ll be able to save it and return to make any last-minute changes until our draft period officially closes at 1pm PT on Thursday, May 28.
Step 3: Enjoy the sweat!
With your team named, selected, and saved, all that remains is to watch on as they — hopefully — score a ton of points and rocket your team up the table!
Make sure you’re logged in to PokerOrg, as you’ll be able to see every result your team collects, where they’re performing their best, how they’re doing in any events in progress, and how many points they stand to win.
You’ll be able to view the full leaderboard and opponents’ team selections, check up on your closest rivals, and make sure you’re beating your friends.
And of course PokerOrg will be right there on the tournament floor all summer long, bringing you the latest news and results as well as features, interviews, videos, and more from the 2026 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
So now you know how to play, who are you going to pick for your team?
