The biggest poker tournament of the year starts at the World Series of Poker on July 2, but this year’s Main Event champion won’t be crowned until August 5.
The final nine will be set on July 13, and will wait three weeks to battle for the bracelet and a first prize of around $10 million over three days, starting August 3.
The Main Event has always been a big deal, but 2026 is shaping up to be special. And you can watch the whole thing from Day 1A, through the crazy money bubble, the tense final table bubble, and the final table itself.
How to watch the 2026 WSOP Main Event live
If you’re in Las Vegas you can wander into the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas casinos and watch it play out in person. There are feature tables with seating, and rails where you can stand and watch the world’s biggest players – and thousands of amateur hopefuls – battle for the chips.
It's completely free, and it gives you a close-up view of the beauty and madness of the Main Event.
If you're lucky, you might be able to bag a selfie with Daniel Negreanu.
How to watch the 2026 WSOP Main Event in the US
If you’re a WSOP veteran, then you'll forever link ESPN with poker’s biggest stage. The iconic broadcasts that showed Chris Moneymaker winning the Main Event in 2003 are unforgettable.
ESPN is back for 2026. Norman Chad and Lon McEachern were the voices of poker back then, and they’re still the voice of the WSOP today.
ESPN has already been bringing in the big cameras at the feature stage, helping build excitement for the showpiece of the 2026 WSOP.
ESPN's coverage of the Main Event starts with daily livestreams on the ESPN+ app – which costs $29.99 per month – from July 2-13. What happened to coming out from behind the paywall? If you're opposed to paying, you can wait for the highlight shows. The final table is being streamed live on ESPN and ESPN 2.
