After serving a one-week suspension on its account, Hustler Casino Live returns to the YouTube airwaves tonight with a rare double-header of games planned to kick off the latest iteration of the stream's Super Highstakes Week.
While it's still not entirely clear why the stream house received the suspension, the return couldn't come soon enough as the high stakes action in Los Angeles is about to pop off.
When the suspension was handed down early last week, the stream jumped ship to broadcast its offerings live on Twitch. Now, the stream has the all clear to return to its home, but there are still questions surrounding the nature of the suspension and the reason for it. According to Hustler Casino Live boss Ryan Feldman, "YouTube gave us a strike for violating a policy. We weren't able to stream for a week. We didn't get specifics, but we believe we addressed the issue properly and will be good to go going forward. We believe it won't happen in the future."
As mentioned, Hustler Casino Live took to Twitch for its slate of livestreams last week - much to the detriment of the show's typically-high viewership. As Feldman puts it, "We had less than 1,000 live viewers each day. Anywhere from 300-900. A huge drop-off from YouTube, where we typically have 4,000-10,000 live viewers each day. A lot of people didn’t know we were on Twitch because not everyone is on Twitter."
Feldman continued with a warning for other poker streams, saying, "YouTube has a lot of policies, especially gambling related. Everyone should get familiar with the policies so that they never get a strike."
Super Highstakes Week returns
This week, Hustler Casino Live will run the latest iteration of its Super Highstakes Week, with $100/$200 and $200/$400 action on the schedule. Super Highstakes Week starts today with a double-header lineup of the show's flagship Max Pain Monday at 3:00pm PT, followed by a $100/$200 game later in the evening.
The complete lineups for the week have yet to be released and are subject to undergo changes, as putting together games of this size is no simple task. According to the Hustler Casino Live Twitter/X account, fans can expect to see regulars like Sashimi, Luda Chris, Mike X, Dylan Flashner, Jeremy 'JBoogs' Levin, and the head honcho himself, Ryan Feldman.
