Andrew Robl made his intentions clear before he sat down at this week's High Stakes Poker livestream.
In a post on X this week, he wrote: "I am wiring in 7M and will be covering every dollar [Eric Wasserson] puts on the table. This luckbox has won 7m on stream in the past year, becoming the second biggest televised winner of all time, and has terrorized, humiliated and destroyed me every time we’ve played.
"But it’s over, this shit ends Friday, I’m ready for war. I’m going to personally see to it he loses every single chip he puts on the felt, and his stream winnings get reset to zero."
Things didn't go according to plan for Robl on Friday night's stream.
In fact, both Robl and Wasserson were among the biggest losers, with Robl dropping $711,500 and Wasserson losing $1,110,500.
Billionaire Stanley Tang was the biggest beneficiary, to the tune of $1.5 million, and Robl and Wasserson still had unfinished business. Robl doubled down ahead of Saturday night's stream.
Robl and Wasserson clash in monster pot
In the glory days of High Stakes Poker, it took something like aces versus kings for a seven-figure pot to happen.
Last night, Robl and Wasserson got their monster stacks in with much less.
Wasserson raised to $20,000 with 
and Texas Mike called with 
. Robl three-bet to $110,000 with 
– enough to get rid of Texas Mike. Wasserson four-bet to $280,000.
"It might all be happening, guys," Nick Schulman said from the commentary booth. "We knew these two would play a big one."
Robl made the call to go to the flop with $599,000 in the middle, and checked in the dark before the dealer spread 
.
Wasserson had top pair but decided to check as well to see the 
turn, giving Robl a flush draw to go with his gutshot and two overcards.
Robl checked and Wasserson bet $200,000, only to see Robl move all in. He covered Wasserson, who had $740,000 back.
"What did I do?" asked Wasserson. "Can I see one?" he asked an impassive Robl. "How much do I have to pay to see one?"
Then he said the words that Robl wouldn't have wanted to hear: "Alright, whatever," and flicked in the call, bringing the pot to a High Stakes Poker record of $2,478,000.
"I'm standing," said Schulman. "I might pass out."
They decided to run it twice and Wasserson scooped the lot. Robl headed to the bar and poured himself a large glass of red.

Wasserson leaves as the biggest winner – again
The near-eight-hour stream ended with Robl and Texas Mike still trading massive blows, while Wasserson watched on.
Texas Mike won a seven-figure pot with just ace-high.
"I feel like a child who's snuck into an R-rated movie," Ali Nejad said from the booth. "Or has somehow stumbled across a corner of the internet I wasn't supposed to. I'm watching something I only ever hear about and never really see."
Before calling it a night, Robl and Wasserson flipped for $100K – and Wasserson won that too.
Robl pulled some of his losses back but still ended up nearly $770K in the red. His only consolation was that Alejandro Lococo fared even worse, dropping just over $1 million.
Wasserson continued his red-hot run in the PokerGO studio with a $2.2 million win.
