For nearly a decade, many of us on the PokerOrg team have watched Jennifer Shahade shock chess players and onlookers with an act that seemed to flirt with the supernatural. Her trick wasn't magic. It wasn't even a trick. It was simply this: Shahade is one of the best chess players you'll ever meet. And if you doubt that, just check out the photo above.
That's the day we watched her beat all comers at the same time, casually moving from board to board while quietly destroying any poor soul who dared move a pawn (if you look closely, you'll see Liv Boeree, who Shahade says has since become a very good chess player).
Tonight, Shahade will do it all again in the PokerOrg Legends Lounge.
Beginning at 6pm, the two-time U.S. Women’s Chess Champion, poker pro, and author will play six people at one time in the Legends Lounge inside the Horseshoe Las Vegas.
And odds are, she will beat them all.

Stars and bars in the PokerOrg Lounge
The Legends Lounge has already been open for a few days, and it's already been a party. Wednesday night, we welcomed all of poker's communities to join ours for an open bar party (which, perhaps not coincidentally, turned into a chess match of its own).
Thursday morning, we hosted the first in a series of poker author book signings. Lena Evans, author of The Poker Powered Brain, brought a star-studded cadre of collaborators with her to meet and greet fans.
