The second and final Day 1 flight in the EPT Barcelona Main Event has just concluded. 342 players found a bag and will join the 193 survivors from Day 1A when Day 2 starts tomorrow at noon local time.
Bharath Janardhan topped the Day 1B leaderboard with a stack of 321,000. That means the overall chip leader is Michael Dwyer from Day 1A with 363,500.
The field is up to 1,719 entries and late registration is open until the start of Day 2, so that number will get even bigger on Monday. If you forgot all about it, there's still time to hotfoot it to Casino Barcelona with €5,300 for your buy-in.
Lock in your Pick 3 fantasy team for Day 2
There's also still time to enter PokerOrg's Pick 3 fantasy competition.
You need to lock in your team by the start of Day 2 – noon local time – and you can edit it as many times as you like before the deadline.
It's free to enter and the prize is an $8,000 package to play the very next EPT Main Event, in Prague this December. The package includes your €5,300 Main Event buy-in, plus flights from wherever you are in the world, and accommodation.
All you need to do is select three poker players you think will go deep in the Catalan capital this week.
- Pick your players.
- Name your team.
- Answer the tiebreaker question.
- Save it.
Then sit back and watch as your team climbs the leaderboard. For each €1 your players win in prize money, your team will get 1 point. There will be prizes for the top 10 teams, with the winner heading to Prague.
