Stake, the online casino and sportsbook licensed in Curacao, has launched a range of real money poker games on its global .com platform.

Both cash games and tournaments - including MTTs, bounty tourneys, freerolls, shootouts and sit & go’s - are available for Texas Hold’em and Omaha variants.

A number of other welcome features are represented, including bomb pots, straddles, run-it-twice and quick all-in shootouts. Fast-fold versions of cash games and tourneys are also available under the ‘Rapid’ banner. The site also accepts a wide range of cryptocurrencies in many countries.

The launch of Stake’s real money poker games comes following a period of beta-testing. Players in the US are not currently accepted for real money poker games, but can play social poker games for free at Stake.us.

The news of the new poker product was announced with an eye-catching video from Stake.com.

Who is Stake?

Stake was founded in 2017 by Australian entrepreneurs - licensed in Curacao with offices across the world - as a cryptocurrency-based online casino and, later, sportsbook.

The company has been involved in various high-profile sports sponsorship deals in the past several years, including a shirt sponsorship for Everton FC in the English Premier League, and a deal with the Sauber Formula 1 team. The brand also has a long-running association with Canadian musician Drake.
