After pulling off a roaring success with its inaugural stop in Cyprus last year, the PokerStars European Poker Tour will return to the Mediterranean poker hotbed next month. From October 9-20, the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa will once again play host to an action-packed slate of events, both on and off the felt. The Cyprus stop will offer the standard EPT tournaments, along with a number of Eureka Poker Tour events to start proceedings.
The schedule for the series sees twelve days of tournament action, beginning with the Eureka Main Event on October 9, followed by the Eureka Cup and Eureka High Roller.
The EPT event schedule highlights include the fan-favorite Mystery Bounty format with a $3,000 buy-in alongside two high roller tournaments and, of course, the Main Event. At the inaugural Cyprus stop in 2023, Gilles Simon triumphed over the field to claim the first-ever EPT Cyprus Main Event title and the $1,042,000 top prize. Other notable winners from the 2023 stop included mixed-games master Benny Glaser triumphing in the $1,100 8-Game and Spanish super-pro Juan Pardo taking down the $50K Super High Roller.
