Pennsylvania poker pro Ryan Miller became the fourth double-bracelet winner of the 2023 World Series of Poker after emerging as the winner of one of the final tournaments of the WSOP's summer run, Event #91: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. Miller topped a 331-entry field to win $208,640 in an unscheduled Day 4 conclusion of the event today.
Miller closed out eventual runner-up Leonard August for the H.O.R.S.E title after powering through a final table that also included five prior bracelet winners: Calvin Anderson, Barbara Enright, Andrew Yeh, Kevin Gerhart, and Todd Brunson. Enright and Brunson are also members of the Poker Hall of Fame.
Miller's latest triumph came less than three weeks after he took down Event #63, the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship. That earlier win was worth a career-best $334,677, and the twin bracelet triumphs moved Miler's career WSOP earnings to nearly $675,000.
In becoming the fourth double-bracelet winner of the 2023, Miller joined Chad Eveslage, Chris Brewer, and Josh Arieh in accomplishing the feat.
Miller began the Day 4 heads-up finale in the Event #91 H.O.R.S.E. tourney with the chip lead, though August briefly moved ahead before a run of hands went Miller's way. August ended up collecting $128,835 for the second-place finish.
