The Asian Poker Tour (APT) has announced a new partnership with the World Series of Poker’s (WSOP) livestream coverage.
In addition to a new broadcast deal with ESPN, action from the WSOP will be available on a daily basis via livestreams at the WSOP’s YouTube channel throughout the seven-week series.
Starting on Tuesday, May 26, 100 bracelet events will play out across the summer and the level of coverage is likely to be better than ever.
As part of the greatly expanded offering for poker lovers everywhere, the APT will be a sponsor of these streams and providing some special guests to aid in commentary.

To mark the new partnership between two of the world’s biggest live poker brands, the APT is giving away a live poker package for November’s APT Championship Main Event.
The Championship series is the season-ending high point for the APT’s 20th year celebrations. Held at Red Space in Taipei from November 13-29, the series features a $10K Main Event which takes the form of a $5M GTD freezeout.
With a $10K buy-in, a freezeout format and huge prizes guaranteed, the APT Championship centerpiece has been dubbed ‘Asia’s Main Event’, and here’s how you can play it for free.
Simply create an image inspired by the award-winning APT Lion trophy, and share it on Facebook, Instagram or X using the hashtags #APTContest and #APTC2026.

The contest is open from May 26 at 9am to July 15 at 11:59pm PST. After that a winner will be selected, who will receive:
- A $10K seat in the $5M GTD APT Championship Main Event
- Up to $2K for travel to Taipei, Taiwan
- Up to $3K for accommodation
The winner of last year’s APT Championship Main Event, Nishant Sharma, banked over a million dollars for outlasting a field of 671.
With live poker booming in Asia right now, we expect both the field and the prize money to be even bigger in 2026. And you can grab a share — just get creative with some lions!
