As the Cash Game World Championships continue to run on throughout the month on CoinPoker, another super-loaded tournament series approaches – one that's bigger than ever before.

From May 3 to June 1, the World Poker Masters (WPM) online tournament series will take over the virtual tables on CoinPoker.

With multiple million-dollar guarantee events on the schedule, $500,000 in leaderboard prizes, and an overall series prize pool of $25M, the World Poker Masters will be the largest tournament series in the site's history. While the series offers buy-ins at a wide variety of price points ranging from $1.10 to $25,500, the WPM Warm Up Stage – starting April 26 – will provide players with a chance to qualify for larger events via micro and low stakes satellites.

59 of the events on the WPM schedule will award physical and virtual CoinPoker Trophies – giving players an added incentive to fight for the win. There's also a variety of poker variants to choose from, including no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha, PLO5, and PLO6.

WPM highlights

The highlights of the WPM include the $2.5M GTD Main Event and the $500K GTD Mini Main Event – both of which feature multiple Day 1 flights for players to choose from. The Main Event features a $530 buy-in while the Mini Main Event stands at a more affordable $55 buy-in.

Day 2 of each Main Event will play out on June 1.

The Main Events aren't the only eye-catching events on the schedule – check out a few more of the WPM schedule highlights below.

  • $1M GTD CoinMillion ($215 buy-in) - May 10
  • $1M GTD Super High Roller ($25,500 buy-in) - May 11
  • $1M GTD High Roller ($5,200 buy-in) - Day 2 on May 11
  • $1M GTD CoinMasters Bitcoin ($1,500 buy-in) - Day 2 on May 25

The $500,000 up for grabs in the leaderboard races will be split between the WPM Leaderboards ($425,000) and the Champions Leaderboard ($75,000). For both leaderboards, the points earned are calculated by number of entrants, buy-in level, and finishing position

Each week, the WPM Leaderboard will reward top players in both the High and Low tiers with cash prizes.

The Champions Leaderboard will run throughout the entire series, taking into account every event played across the WPM – with big cash prizes for the Top 5 finishers
