The words of Amit Agarwal, a man who is truly embracing that mantra in the WSOP Main Event.
His 2026 Main Event adventure has become must-watch entertainment.
Agarwal, a Florida-based businessman and recreational poker player, began appearing on the social media radars of the poker world on Day 1D, as he ran up a healthy stack of 130,000 chips by the dinner break, before walking away from the table entirely.
With a decent stack to return to, Agarwal decided he needed a break.
So off he went with four hours of poker to go, to Boulder Station casino to watch a movie he clearly loves for the fifth time, Obsession.
But instead of sitting through the previews and commercials, he hopped into a 1-2 No-Limit game and tried to earn some popcorn money.
It didn’t go too well.
While Agarwal was enjoying the flick and discovering the joys of poker on the Boulder Highway, his stack dwindled down to 113,900, but he would be returning for Day 2D.
For about 45 minutes anyway.
He’s played even less today?!?!
Agarwal's befuddled tablemates watched him fire off a series of massive, maniacal jams. After scoring one knockout, he more than doubled his stack.
And then bounced again.
He even ran the numbers through ChatGPT again to ensure that his stack would be fine while he was out and about.
And what did he do after 45 minutes of insane spinning on Day 2D of the Main Event?
More of the same, apparently: another screening of Obsession.
It seems whoever came up with the title for that movie may have had Agarwal in mind.
This time, Agarwal made his way to South Point, and again, with some time to kill before a 1:45 showtime (remember – the Main Event started at 11 am), found his way over to their poker room for some…
4-8 Limit Hold ‘em?!?!
Having never played the Limit version of Hold ‘em, Agarwal went to his trusted source for advice.
Though he had other ideas…
And again, the quest for popcorn money didn’t go well.
But he did get to enjoy another viewing of his favorite movie, and according to subsequent tweets, he stopped off at a local gym for a workout as well.
Will he return to the Main Event today? Who knows, but one thing is certain: Agarwal is making a strong case for the most unorthodox Main Event campaign we've ever seen.
