If you’re reading this, you’ve got less than 24 hours to lock in your Pick 3 team. The deadline for team entries is December 4 at 11am ET.

Then it’s all down to your team. Will your three drafted players go on to win the most money in Event #1 at WSOP Paradise?

If they do, you’ll win a $30K package to play the $60 million guaranteed Super Main Event, a tournament that boasts the single biggest guarantee in poker history. And you’ll be able to thank your team in person in The Bahamas.

So, what are you waiting for?

Want to know which players are the most popular picks? We’ve got you. At the time of writing this article, these are the 5 most drafted players in Pick 3.

Go with the flow? Or go against the crowd? That’s up to you.

The top 5 most-drafted players in Pick 3 (so far)

#1 Ari Engel – 42% ownership

Ari Engel Ari Engel
Omar Sader

With 20 Circuit rings and four bracelets, Engel is the most decorated player in the draft, yet he’s still been picked an astonishing number of times. The deadline hasn’t passed, and this stat could change, but he’s currently in 42% of Pick 3 teams. If he doesn’t cash, that’s an awful lot of teams that will miss out on a third of their potential payouts. As a player, we’d never advise backing against him. For Pick 3? There’s a good argument to oppose him.

#2 Jonathan Little – 23% ownership

Jonathan Little Jonathan Little

With $9.4 million in tournament winnings, Little sits just above Engel in the all-time money list. As founder of PokerCoaching.com, Little has also helped thousands of players win more in tournaments around the world. Can he go on to win his second bracelet of the year in The Bahamas this December?

#3 Frank Funaro – 21% ownership

Frank Funaro Frank Funaro
Joe Giron

Funaro might not be as well-known as the other top 5 picks, but he could turn out to be a great draft. With two bracelets and three rings, won live and online, Funaro is worth every dollar of his $4.2 million all-time winnings. He came close to a huge score when he finished 5th in the 2022 WPT World Championship, and he chopped the PokerStars Philly Open Main Event for a six-figure score earlier this year. He also cashed three times at the 2024 WSOP Paradise festival, including a 59th place in the Super Main Event for $110,200.

#4 Shannon Shorr – 14% ownership

Shorr has had a phenomenal year, with four wins on the PokerGO Tour alone netting him over $1.3 million. He also won his first Circuit ring in the $1,700 Main Event in Las Vegas in March. He’s cashed consistently in 2025 and will be looking to win his first live bracelet in a career that’s seen him net over $16 million in tournament winnings.

#5 Martin Jacobson – 10% ownership

Martin Jacobson Martin Jacobson

The fifth most-drafted player has won more money than anyone else in the draft. $10 million of Jacobson’s $18 million tournament haul came when he won the 2014 WSOP Main Event, but the Swede is far from a one-hit wonder. That said, he hasn’t posted a six-figure score since February 2023, and he might be making teams based on name value alone. We know he’s capable, but could he be one to oppose at a 10% ownership level?
