This Saturday, March 23rd, the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, along with organizer Caitlyn Arnwine, will once again play host to the LadiesLegendsTournament. In May of 2023, Arnwine brought the first-ever women's event to the Horseshoe Baltimore and the success of that first event has clearly encouraged both parties to run it back.
The Ladies Legends event celebrates Women'sHistoryMonth and offers players much more than just a poker tournament. Before the cards are dealt, a "Women in Poker" panel will take place, starting at 11:00am and featuring Hollie "Beary" Fallstone, J. Avery Theodore Daisey, and HeidiFindley. The panel will stream live on Arnwine's YouTube channel and includes translations for deaf individuals via an American Sign Language interpreter.
The tournament itself kicks off at 12:15pm, after the panel concludes, and boasts a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool at a price point of just $200 for women attendees.
In addition, a number of community members and organizations have thrown their support behind Arnwine's effort in the form of giveaway opportunities.
The first nine women eliminated from the tournament will receive 3-month RecPoker Premium subscriptions courtesy of Jim Reid. The five women eliminated before the money will earn themselves a free one-hour mindset and performance training session with SashaEileenSutton. Attendees with an interest in poker marketing could walk away with a one-on-one coaching session with A-Game Agency, donated by founder MelanieMoser.
There are a number of book giveaways planned, including signed copies from poker authors AlexO'Brien, AmandaBotfeld, MariaKonnikova, EllenLeikind, DaraO'Kearney, AndrewBrokos, and Matt Matros.
