1,676 entries were made for the tournament, with 537 survivors continuing on today at noon local time. 10 more one-hour levels will be played, with the money bubble almost certain to burst sometime tonight.
The official prizepool was released late last night, with the players having generated $16,257,200, blowing away the $10,000,000 guarantee. The top 210 players will make a min-cash of $17,200 while the champion receives an incredible $2,561,480 top prize!

WPT Prime champion Stephen Song (4th, 406,500), Calvin Anderson (8th, 357,000), Bryce Yockey (14th, 303,000), and Mikita Badziakouski (15th, 291,500) all bagged big on their first days.
WPT Champions Club members Roger Teska (9th, 350,500), Adam Weinraub (12th, 308,000), Larry Greenberg (21st, 279,000), Noah Schwartz (25th, 257,000), Brian Altman (33rd, 229,500), and Dominik Nitsche (37th, 220,000) will also have a healthy stack to begin Day 2.
Notably, Phil Ivey was the very last player to register for the tournament just two hours before the end of the day. The World Poker Tour ambassador bagged 142,500 from a 40,000 starting stack.
Players will begin the day playing at 1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 ante.
