Ryan Depaulo has added a WSOPC ring to his trophy cabinet. It will go nicely with the WSOP bracelet he shelved there last year. Depaulo won the WSOPC Online Big 500 6-Max tournament this week, managing to turn his $500 buy-in into $16,681 in the process. As yet, we don't know from which parking lot he was beaming in to the online event.

Depaulo's win comes despite his claims that he doesn't know the first thing about pot limit Omaha. Then again, who among us does, Ryan?

Depaulo celebrated his win on Twitter.

"Just won a WSOP Ring in PLO!" Depaulo wrote. "AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO PLAY."

Depaulo's Hendon Mob stats are $301,975 in live cashes and a slew of online WSOP event cashes, including his bracelet win last year. That win was also in a Big 500 event, though that time the game was no limit Texas hold 'em.

WSOP fatigue?

The paymasters at America's Cardroom were quick to sing Depaulo's praises. They congratulated him on his new bling.

"Congrats to Americas Cardroom Team Pro, @depaulo_ryan on winning a WSOP Circuit Ring last night," the ACR_POKER account wrote on Twitter. "Depaulo conquered the @WSOPcom Online Circuit Event 4, scoring $16,681 in cash."

The small field made things a little easier on Depaulo. The event gathered just 147 entries for a prize pool of $73,500.

It might be a sign of the WSOP's slipping brand credibility that a $500 buy-in event with a ring up for grabs barely broke three-figure entries. This made for 15 places paid.

Among the final table competitors, Nathan "surfbum" Gamble was the biggest threat. However, after a run of bad luck took him from leading the field to hugging the rail in three hands, he cashed out in 4th place.

After that, Depaulo had pretty smooth sailing to his $16k, his ring, and another notch on the door of his car.

"Played 4 total #wsop ring events in the last month, have a 1st & 3rd under my belt and a 2nd in the winners freeroll. Currently back at another final table of the $500 PLO Event" Gamble wrote.

Later he added: "Chip leader to out in 3 back to back to back hands. 4th for 7k."
