Big buy-ins and massive guarantees highlight weeklong series that begins Sunday

The upcoming weekend for the high-stakes tournament poker community is turning out to go even bigger than expected, as GGPoker made a late addition to this Sunday's slate of high roller online poker tournaments.

GGPoker announced the return of its High Rollers Week, with 20 events added to the network's tournament schedule. The series offers $22 million guaranteed and runs Nov. 8-15.

The series starts big with four events scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8. Three of those four events offer seven-figure prize pools as the GGPoker High Rollers Week offers some of the biggest tournaments of the festival on the first day of the schedule.

High Rollers Week kicks off with Event #1: $1,050 GGMasters High Rollers, which offers a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool. Event #2: $10,300 Super MILLION$ begins just an hour later, bringing with it a massive $3 million in guaranteed prize money. The tournament takes the place of the normally scheduled $1.5 million guaranteed weekly Super MILLION$ High Roller, with the final table playing out on live stream Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Sunday's action concludes with Event #3: $10,300 PLO High Roller ($1 million guaranteed) and Event #4: $5,200 NLHE High Roller ($600,000 guaranteed).

The Sunday slate of big tournaments adds to an already loaded schedule for online tournament players. Both the GGPoker Battle of Malta and the PokerStars EPT Online run with seven-figure guarantee events, as Sunday shapes up as a day of huge opportunities for online poker players with access to GGPoker and PokerStars.

Several big guarantees await on the High Rollers Week schedule

Some of the other big guarantee events on the GGPoker High Rollers Week schedule include Event #7: $10,300 NLHE High Roller. That $1.25 million guaranteed tournament begins Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Wednesday, Nov. 12 brings Event #11: $25,000 NLHE Super High Roller. That tournament offers the largest buy-in of any event in the series and comes with a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool.

Sunday, Nov. 15 stands as one of the biggest days in the series. Event #17: $1,050 GGMasters High Rollers offers a $1 million guarantee and plays as one of four tournaments that kick off on the final day of the series.

The culmination of High Rollers Week begins later Sunday, with the kickoff of Event #18: Super MILLION$ Main Event. The $10,300 Main Event offers $5 million guaranteed, the biggest prize pool of the series.

That event takes the place of the regularly-scheduled weekly Super Million$ High Roller, with streaming coverage of the final table playing out Tuesday, Nov. 17 on the GGPoker.TV channel.

Fans of big-name poker players will likely be glued to both the Nov. 10 and Nov. 17 coverage of the pair of Super MILLION$ tournaments, as those two events should bring out some of poker's best high-stakes tournament players.
